About kwlug-disc	English (USA)
This list is a moderate traffic list for those who use Linux and are interested in the KWLUG (Kitchener-Waterloo Linux User Group) community. There is also a low-traffic list called kwlug-announce for monthly meeting announcements. Note: because of spam mail from non-members is immediately discarded. Contact one of the list admins directly if you want to get in touch. Also, spammers ruin everything, and you can no longer subscribe without admin approval. If you attempt to subscribe and nobody approves your request, then it may have been buried under a flood of fake signups. Use the "Contact" functionality on the KWLUG homepage to request addition. Also note: this is a public list. The archives are open to the public, and reachable via search engine. If you are uncomfortable with that, this may not be the list for you. Using kwlug-disc
To post a message to all the list members, send email to kwlug-disc@kwlug.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to kwlug-disc
Subscribe to kwlug-disc by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
